Although the event was before the official GearSkinz launch date (21st January 2010) the GearSkinz team didn’t want to miss out on exhibiting at this great event, as Teri Marsh (Co-Director) explains: “Merseyside is where GearSkinz is based, so the Merseyside Guitar Show seemed the most appropriate show for us to attend. We know it’s a little ahead of our actual launch date, but we didn’t want to wait another year for the next one to come around - and we’re really glad we didn’t. The response has been absolutely fantastic. We knew that we had a great product but to see everybody’s reaction to it has been incredible. We’re only half way through the day and we already have numerous pre-orders placed for when the cases go on sale in the New Year."
Customers visiting the stand were clearly impressed with how tough and light these cases really are and the GearSkinz team were inundated with visitors wanting to be added to the emailing list to be informed when GearSkinz cases go on sale. There were also a number of amp manufacturers exhibiting at the show who were keen to be able to offer these cases to customers purchasing their equipment.
Every GearSkinz case is custom made to measure in order to fit all the different makes and models of amps, combos and speaker cabinets out there, so a perfect fit is always assured. But what is so unique about these rigid cases is that they don’t have handles – they have apertures which give access to the content’s own carrying handles. This unique design utilises your equipment’s existing handles, so they don’t need any surplus hardware (such as aluminium extrusions, latches, handles etc), which makes them extremely light and portable. This design also keeps the overall size of these cases to the bare minimum – saving valuable storage and transportation space - and, being made of the same material that’s been protecting drum kits so successfully for the past twenty-odd years, they are tough too.
GearSkinz cases come in three versions to suit your needs and your pocket – the Standard, Plus and Lite, and are manufactured exclusively by GearSkinz® in the UK.
The 2009 Merseyside Guitar Show, featuring live music and four floors with over 80 exhibitors, collectors and dealers, was extremely well attended and showed a tremendous range of musical instruments and associated equipment. GearSkinz will be exhibiting at the Newcastle Guitar Show on 7th March 2010 in Gateshead. GearSkinz cases will be available to buy on 21st January 2010 at
www.gearskinz.co.uk. If you are looking for a great way to protect your gear, we strongly recommend that you check these unique cases out.
