What a great idea, drum cases for amps! I can't believe nobody has thought of it before. An excellent product and a great service, mine is a superb fit and looks great!

Standard flight cases are heavy, bulky and not really as necessary when I'm on the road touring. Even so, when I initially heard about GearSkinz cases, I was sceptical about how they would stand up to touring as they appeared to be too light. I could not have been more wrong. Gearskinz are stunning cases, they're lightweight and sturdy and give my amps all the protection they need on the road.

Hi Neil. I just wanted to drop you a line to say that having received the Plus case for my Mesa Boogie Stiletto Combo last week, I got the chance to use it at my gigs over the weekend. I am absolutely made up with it!
It really is like a flight case but without the weight. In fact, I can't believe how solid this thing is yet how little it weighs, and just how strong those Velcro straps are - 90lbs of combo and they didn't budge at all. And it fits in my car, no problem.
I'm so glad I took your advice and ordered it with the braked casters and extra side handles. As you know, the Stiletto comes with its own removable casters, however, having removed them the amp sits perfectly in the base tray, and that's how I had it when I played at the weekend - just like a flight case.
As for the side handles, because of the weight of this combo, I had at one time toyed with the idea of getting two more Mesa Boogie leather footman handles from Westside Distribution and fixing them to the top of the combo (Vox style) but I'm so glad I didn't now, as that may well have affected future resale values. Thanks to the side handles on the case I've now got the choice of lifting it with the amp's own handle or the case's side ones. Fantastic - now I've got all bases covered when it comes to rolling or carrying it.
You'll be glad to know that I had a lot of poeple asking me where I got the case, so I expect you'll be getting a lot of enquiries coming your way.
Once again, thanks for your help and advice. You've got a really great product there. Awesome!

Just wanted to write and say thanks to you guys at gearskinz for finally coming up with a solution that works for protecting my Peavy 6505 combo. I simply can’t understand why nobody has thought of this before!
I've tried both those padded nylon and cordura slip covers that are available, but they easily rip and don’t give any real protection against real life knocks and bangs; I bought a flight case and soon sold it coz it was too bloody heavy and awkward. This case, however, is the absolute ticket. I’ve used it three nights a week over the past month and it really is the dog’s b*******. Last weekend when putting my guitars on the back seat, my combo rolled off the side of a high kerb (forgot to put the brakes on) and fell over on its side into the road. The case did its job no problem. Not a scratch to the case and my combo was snug as a bug inside. And the case hardly adds any weight to my combo – which is just as well coz it’s a heavy bugger. Highly recommended !

Excellent product that does what is says on the tin. Better than a cover and more practical than a full flight case. Light and hard wearing, in its first year of use, my GearSkinz case has survived over a hundred gigs, been thrown into vans, dropped on more than one occasion, survived a flooded storage room and is still going strong.
The hands-on research and design ethic within the company, coupled with a willingness to listen to the customer is a breath of fresh air: I didn't want Velcro fastenings on the case straps, and insisted on a D-ring arrangement. Gearskinz supplied both, and the Velcro design proved to be the better. GearSkinz were not entirely sold on my ideas for side castors on the base tray, but fitted them anyway and they worked great.
A practical solution for gear protection, made by working Musicians, for working Musicians. Nuff said.

I wanted to let you know that my GearSkinz case arrived yesterday. I am absolutely delighted with it. It fits my 2x12 cab like a glove and its so light and looks fantastic.
I wasn't sure whether to go for the lite or standard version, but I’m glad I paid the extra and went for the standard. Its really strong and is tons better than the soft cases I've bought previously. The concept is great - I'm just amazed no ones done it before! Thanks and I’ll definitely be passing on your details to friends – there are quite a few who I know will be wanting a GearSkinz case when they’ve seen mine – that’s for sure.

Hi. I just want to say how impressed I am with the two Gearskinz cases (amp head & 4x12”cab) that you asked me to road test. Having used them regularly for all my gigs, rehearsals and studio work over the past ten months, they have proved to be every bit as robust as you claimed they would be.
They are exceptionally light for the amount of protection they provide and have made transporting my gear so much easier – whether that involves getting it in and out of the boot of my car or throwing it in the van with the rest of the band’s gear. Even after heavy use, I have to say that they still look as good as new – they’ve stood up really well to the wear and tear of regular gigging. I’ve not used flight cases since I got the Gearskinz from you to test out – they’ve been relegated to the garage! Gearskinz are just easier all round – lighter, easier to use and they look the part too.
I’m genuinely delighted with them. Looking forward to them going on sale so I can get them for the rest of my gear – I’ve had loads of people asking me where I got mine from and I have a bunch of mates who all keen to get their hands on them too. Great gear!
